Drawn Round
When a round ends without a winner because too few wall tiles remain.
A round does not always have to end with a winner. If the wall is used up too far, the round is drawn.
Main rule
As soon as only 14 tiles remain in the flower or kong wall, the game ends in a draw.
Consequence
There is then no ordinary winner of that round. The further consequences for jongh, prevailing wind, and settlement belong to the later chapters.
Extra rule
In addition:
- if the jongh draws the last tile, the turn stays with the jongh
- if another player draws the last tile, the turn passes on
This rule only gains practical weight once the chapters about rounds and settlement have also been added.
Quick check
- An empty wall does not mean you keep playing.
- The boundary is
14remaining tiles in the flower or kong wall.
