Settlement Between Losers
How the losers settle among themselves based on point differences.
After the winner has been paid, the losers continue settling among themselves based on the difference in points between their hand values.
Main rule
Compare the 3 losers pairwise:
- the higher score receives the difference from the lower score
- the lower score pays that difference to the higher score
Source example
The source gives this example:
- loser A has
100p - loser B has
80p - loser C has
50p
Then the following happens:
- A receives
20pfrom B - A receives
50pfrom C - B receives
30pfrom C
How to do this in practice
put the
3 losers in order from high to lowcompare each player with each player below them
each time pay only the difference
That prevents points from being counted twice.
Effect at the table
Loser settlement is therefore not a new point count. You use only the already fixed hand values of the 3 non-winners.
The same comparison method is also used after invalid tjok, but then only for the 3 players who did not commit invalid tjok.
Quick check
- The loser with the highest score receives from the other
2. - The loser with the lowest score pays the other
2. - Each time you settle with differences, not full scores.
- After
invalid tjok, the player withinvalid tjokstays outside this comparison.
