7 Pairs

The optional winning form of `7` pairs with source conditions.

7 pairs (also known as 7 sisters) is not a generally accepted main rule. This hand must be agreed in advance.

Agree in advance

Use this hand only as a table variant.

Conditions

The player must:

  • form 7 pairs by themselves
  • take nothing from the table
  • also draw the last pair by themselves

Four equal tiles

The following also applies:

  • 4 equal tiles in the hand
  • that have not been opened as a kong
  • count as 2 pairs

7 pairs yields Man Kong.

Quick check

  • Without prior agreement, 7 pairs does not belong to the main rule.
  • The whole hand must be built by yourself.
  • As soon as you take a tile from the table, that breaks this hand pattern.
